Sacred Feminine Photography

My love for photography came from my father who captured wonderful candid photos growing up. I always knew I would be an artist. The funny thing is, I didn’t know that my life’s work would end up in the healing arts while photography remained more of a “hobby”.

As I’ve gone through my own midlife journey, it’s been important for me to make creative arts a priority. The thrill of capturing a beautiful and expressive moment in time delights my soul. The idea of photo documenting the life of the sacred feminine is something that has been stirring in me for some time, perhaps since the birth of my daughter.

This documentation is, in essence, a form of therapy, it is an intention, and an invitation to express with, full liberation, your authentic and inspired self. This “story” is your own, one from the past, the present and/or the future. It is yours to tell. This is an opportunity to work through and express difficult emotions or stories from the past. This is an opportunity to explore being someone different—the priestess, the goddess, the mother, the crone, the whore, the creatrix, the feminine entrepreneur, etc. This is a way to honor the intention of who you are becoming. There are many ways to approach this motion…

Together we will come into ceremony to call forth the YOU that wants to be expressed. This is a space where you get to be not only seen but heard and honored for who you know yourself to be. This may be who you are already are, who you aspire to be, or the part/s of you that have been kept under wraps. We’ll have fun in the exploration and break through guarded areas in the creative process.
